Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a strong threat to the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah. “If Hezbollah starts an all-out war, Beirut (Lebanon’s capital) will be turned into Gaza,” he said.
Al Jazeera, a Qatar-based media outlet, reported that an Israeli civilian was killed in a Hezbollah missile attack on Israel’s northern border last Thursday. Apart from this, several Israeli tanks were destroyed. After that, Netanyahu issued a stern warning to Hezbollah.
Hezbollah supports the Palestinian independence group Hamas. Iran supports this Lebanese organization. Hezbollah said 11 attacks were carried out last Thursday. An Israeli barrack in the Lebanese border village of Mattat was targeted.
Israel, meanwhile, said it had retaliated with an airstrike on one of its command centers in response to Hezbollah’s attack.

The war between Israel and Hamam started on October 7. The Gaza Ministry of Health said that more than 17 thousand Palestinians have been killed so far in this war. And Israel claimed that 1,200 Israelis were killed in the attack by Hamas.
Since the start of the Israel-Hamas war, the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah, located 200 kilometers from Gaza, has backed the Palestinians and started attacking Israeli troops patrolling the Lebanese border.
