BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital in the capital, has been shifted from the Critical Care Unit (CCU) to the cabin. After improvement of condition and removal of fluid from lungs, he was shifted to cabin.
Begum Khaleda Zia was taken to Cabin No. 7201 on the 7th floor of Evercare Hospital at around 7:30 pm today. At that time, her personal doctor A ZM Zahid Hossain, Abdullah Al Mamun, Shahabuddin, younger brother Shamim Iskandar, daughter-in-law Sharmila Rahman Sinthi were present.
Earlier, Khaleda Zia was transferred from the cabin to the Critical Care Unit (CCU) on the advice of the medical board due to physical complications around 5:30 pm today. BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s personal physician and member of the Medical Board Professor AZM Zahid Hossain said this.
He said, ‘She (Khaleda Zia) was taken to the CCU at 5:30 pm on the advice of the medical board due to some physical complications. It is hoped that after the treatment, he will be shifted to the cabin again.”

Prof. Zahid said that a 19-member medical board headed by specialist doctor Prof. Shahabuddin Talukder of Evercare Hospital is supervising Khaleda Zia’s treatment all the time.
