Javed Ali of Bollywood will sing in Dhaka

Indian musician Javed Ali is coming to Bangladesh. The post has been doing the rounds on social media since Wednesday (January 24) night. Arclight Events said on their Facebook page that this singer is coming to sing in Dhaka on April 26. According to his sources, the CEO of the company Dr. Independent Digital spoke to Imtiaz. He confirmed Javed Ali’s concert.

It is known that artists from three countries are being organized in this concert titled ‘Urban Night’. Apart from India’s Javed Ali, Pakistan’s Abdul Hannan and Bangladesh’s Ishan Mazumder will sing in it. The venue is Secret Garden located at Bashundhara in the capital.

When asked whether there was an agreement with Javed Ali about this concert, Dr. Imtiaz said, ‘I have been talking to him (Javed Ali) for almost a month. Finally today we have an agreement. He is currently in Dubai for a concert. Will return to Mumbai tomorrow. Then maybe we will get his video message. We have already received video messages from Abdul Hannan and Ishan Majumder.’

Meanwhile, tickets for the concert went on sale on Get Set Rock’s website from Wednesday (January 24) night. Dr. Imtiaz said, “I am getting very good response. Tickets are being sold in two categories. One regular, another VIP.’

The price of regular ticket has been fixed at 3500 rupees and the price of VIP category is 5500 rupees. Apart from Arclight Events, two companies named Ascen and Zirconium are involved in this concert.

Incidentally, Javed Ali is popular as a Bollywood playback artist. In 2007, he became popular with the audience with the song ‘Ek Din Teri Raho Main’ in the movie ‘Nakab’. After that, he gave numerous popular songs including ‘Kun Faiyakoon’ from Rockstar, ‘Gujarish’ from Ghazni, ‘A Jao Meri Tamanna’ from Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, ‘Tuhi Haqikat’ from Tum Mill. Besides, he has also been found in Bengali songs of Tollywood.
