Chairman of the National Human Rights Commission Kamal Uddin Ahmed commented that the 12th National Parliament election on January 7 is very important for the state. He made this comment in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting on the protection of human rights during the election period organized by the National Human Rights Commission at Dinajpur district administration auditorium at 3 pm today.

At that time, Kamal Uddin Ahmed said, “The election on January 7 is very important for the state. Through this election, the main goal of the state to establish democratic governance will be established. Because through this, the right representatives of the people are elected to establish economic development in a non-exploitative society.’

The chairman of the National Human Rights Commission said, ‘According to the constitution, the people own all the powers. According to that, the people will decide through the voting rights – who will take over the governance of this country and who will manage this country.’

Chairman of National Human Rights Commission stressed on fair and peaceful elections to continue the process of democracy.

The Deputy Commissioner of Dinajpur was also present at the exchange meeting. Shakil Ahmed, District Police Superintendent Shah Iftekhar Ahmed and other candidates of various parties contesting the election.
