Winter is coming. The capital Dhaka is also unable to see the sun due to fog. Mild cold current is blowing in four districts. The minimum temperature of the country today Saturday has decreased more than yesterday.

According to the Meteorological Office, today’s minimum temperature was recorded at 8.8 degrees Celsius in Dinajpur.

Meteorologist AKM Nazmul Haque said that the severity of winter will continue for at least two more days. During this period, the temperature may drop a little more across the country. But the temperature will start rising from next Tuesday.

That is, from next Tuesday, the severity of winter may decrease slightly and the feeling of heat may increase.

Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department says that due to water vapor flowing from the Arabian Sea, there may be drizzle in some parts of the northern part of the country, Khulna, Barisal and Dhaka next Thursday and Friday. After that the temperature will start increasing.

Meteorologist Nazmul Haque also said that there is no possibility of cold current in the coming month of Magh. He said, there may be a mild cold current in the northern region.

In the last 24 hours, the highest temperature of the country was recorded in Teknaf at 26.4 degrees Celsius.

Meanwhile, in a forecast, the Meteorological Department said that the weather in the whole country may remain dry with partly cloudy skies for the next 24 hours. Moderate to dense fog is likely to fall over the country from midnight to morning and may continue till afternoon at some places. Air traffic, inland waterway transport and road communication may be temporarily disrupted due to fog.

Besides, mild cold flow is moving over Rangpur division including Rajshahi, Pabna, Naogaon, Chuadanga and Kushtia districts and may continue. Night and day temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country.
