Joint Secretary General of BNP AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon commented that the government has created a stage for drama in the name of elections. He made this comment at the discussion meeting of Ziaur Rahman Samaj Kalyan Parishad at Topkhana Road on Saturday morning.

Mahbub Uddin Khokon said, Awami League wants to suppress BNP because it is afraid of Ziaur Rahman’s ideology. He also alleged that the Election Commission has rejected the logical demand of BNP to implement the government’s agenda.

The Joint Secretary General of BNP said that police are indiscriminately attacking BNP leaders and workers during the peaceful movement and filing cases of disappearance. He commented that not giving bail to BNP leaders including Mirza Fakhrul is a ploy by the government.
