Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is sitting with the Independent Members of Parliament (MP) of the 12th National Parliament this Sunday evening. They have been invited to Ganabhaban. Barrister Biplab Barua, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, gave this information.
The first session of the 12th parliament is sitting on Tuesday (January 30). Earlier, the Prime Minister extended this invitation. It may answer the discussion whether there is any coalition of individual MPs.
In the last January 7 polls, Boat won in 223 seats, independents in 62 seats, Jatiya Party in 11 seats and candidates of other parties won in three seats. After this, Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader also spoke about the front of independent MPs on the question of the opposition party in the parliament. He said, among the political parties, the most seats could be the opposition party. However, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will take the final decision in this regard.
Meanwhile, Jatiya Party (Jatiya Party) Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu said yesterday, Jatiya Party (Japa) will remain in the role of opposition party in Parliament even if it is not recognized. He said, ‘Even if the Speaker in the Parliament recognizes us as an opposition party, if not, the Jatiya Party will remain in the role of the opposition party. Welcome to any new team with Roshan Ershad in front. Even if someone makes a new party, nothing has happened to the original national party, nor will it happen.’
