In the first 50 minutes of trading on Sunday, the main index of the Dhaka stock market was upward. Meanwhile, the index increased by 4 points. After that, the index went up by 1.27 points at the end of the day. It is located at 6 thousand 251 points.
Although the index fell, the volume of transactions increased in DSE. The total transaction was Tk 537 crore 91 lakh shares. The transaction has increased by about 87 crore rupees compared to the previous day.
Among the 329 companies and mutual funds that participated in the swap, about 52 percent of the shares were unchanged. Meanwhile, the share price of 55 companies increased, 100 companies decreased and 174 companies remained unchanged.
Central Pharmaceuticals topped the list of most traded companies, followed by Fu Wang Ceramics and Advent Pharma at third.
In terms of percentage rate increase, Capitec Grameen Bank is on the first position, Central Pharmaceuticals on the second position, BD Thai on the third position.
On the other hand, the overall index of the Chittagong Stock Exchange increased by 9.34 points. located at 18 thousand 546 points; Shares worth Tk 17 crore 92 lakh have been traded.
