In Jessore-5 (Manirampur) constituency, boat supporters have been accused of stabbing and injuring two supporters of the eagle symbol.

Today, Sunday, January 7, this incident took place at Krishnabati Secondary School Center around 8:30 am. Locals rescued the injured and admitted them to Monirampur Hospital.

Injured Moshiur Rahman and Sadhan Das are residents of Khedapara Krishnabati village. During this time, two other people named Hafizur Rahman and Abbas Uddin were accused of beating.

Moshiur Rahman, who was injured in this incident, said, ‘I am a worker of the eagle symbol. 5/6 people, including Habib, son of boat supporter Amir Ali, cut off their hands because of their support for Eagle.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Manirampur Police Station Mir Rezaul Hossain said, ‘We have heard the matter. Action will be taken if complaints are received.’

When contacted in this regard, the upazila health officer Dr. Tanmoy Biswas said, ‘We have given first aid to both of them. They have been sent to Jessore Sadar Hospital for better treatment.’
