Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that Tarek Zia will be brought back from London and given a befitting reply for burning people. He said this in an election public meeting in Tungipara of Gopalganj today.

The Prime Minister said that Tarek Zia will be arrested from London and punished for burning people if he comes to power again.

At that time, Sheikh Hasina raised a question as to why the BNP leaders resorted to arson after hearing a rumor.

The Prime Minister said that BNP-Jamaat has no more merit to come to power. Because they are a group of murderers, a group of war criminals.

Earlier, Sheikh Hasina came to Tungipara from Barisal by road on Friday night. The leaders and activists joined the Tungipara public meeting from this Saturday morning. The public meeting place was filled to the brim. Leaders and activists came to the meeting place in buses and trucks and on foot from morning.

Awami League president Sheikh Hasina is contesting in the Gopalganj-3 constituency consisting of Tungipara and Kotalipara upazilas on January 7. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been elected from this seat since 1986. He has been elected seven times as Member of Parliament from Tungipara-Kotalipara constituency so far. He is voting from this seat in the twelfth parliamentary election to be elected as a member of parliament for the eighth time.

Three-time Prime Minister Bangabandhu’s eldest daughter Sheikh Hasina previously served as Prime Minister in 1996. If he gets a majority in the 12th parliamentary elections, he has a chance to become the prime minister for the fourth time in a row. If that happens, he will be prime minister for five times. Sheikh Hasina has been serving as the party chief of Awami League for almost 42 years since 1981.

After the public meeting in Tungipara, Kotalipara, the Prime Minister will attend the election public meeting in Madaripur.
