Awami League General Secretary and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said that the 12th National Assembly elections will be held at any cost. He said, the election will be participatory.

Obaidul Quader said this in a briefing today on contemporary issues at the political office of the Awami League president in Dhanmondi.

Quader said that the Awami League will hold a victory procession on December 18. It will start from Engineers Institute and end at Dhanmondi 32.

Quader claimed that BNP and its allies are spreading terror, violence and rumors as the elections are approaching.

Quader said that TIB spoke in the tone of BNP, 28 parties are participating in the 12th parliamentary elections. But why is it not participatory? The advocates of BNP’s ideology are blind. Talking strangely. Kader said that it is disappointing to say that there will be no participatory elections.

In response to a question, Quader said, “We are not trying to influence the Election Commission regarding those candidates who have lost their eligibility to be elected.”

Quader said, “We support the action taken by the EC in case of violation of election code of conduct.” This election will be a good example. Wait and see what is selected. Shame on you. There will be real elections, I want to say to all the foreigners who speak, there will be free and fair elections.
