Siddharth Anand’s film ‘Fighter’ is releasing on January 25. It stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. The film is made in the context of airstrike after a terrorist attack on India by Pakistan. Its trailer has been released recently. After that many Pakistani stars opposed it.
Hania Amir, Adnan Siddiqui and others criticized this film. On January 15, Hania Amir wrote on her Instagram handle, ‘These days, there are still some artists who want to give negative messages to people by highlighting the problems between the two countries. I feel bad for the artists who are increasing this distance between the two countries with their art. Uncomfortable, let art live.’
Director Siddharth has opened his mouth in view of Hania’s comments. With a worried face emoji, he wrote in his tweet, ‘Didn’t he work in a provocative film against India? If we don’t have a problem with Pakistani stars working in a film of their country that has anti-Indian sentiments, then why do they think so much of us?’
Incidentally, Hrithik and Deepika will act as Air Force officers in the film Fighter. Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover and others are with them.
