The schedule for the Lok Sabha elections has not been announced yet. The polls are still months away. Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi predicted the election. Standing in Parliament, he said how many votes his party could get in the next election.
Addressing the President in the Lok Sabha session on Monday, Modi said, ‘NDA (Alliance) will get more than 400 seats in the 2024 Lok Sabha polls. And the people must give 370 seats to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Standing in Parliament, Modi said, ‘We are going to be elected for the third time. Only 100-125 days left. I will not go into the numbers, but I am talking about the attitude of the people of the country. NDA (Alliance) will get more than 400 seats. And in this, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will surely win 370 seats.
Apart from this, Modi expressed his determination to make the country the third largest economy in the world after coming to power. He also said that some big decisions will come after being elected this time.
Modi said, ‘Congress is responsible for the disorganized state of the opponents. It was time for them to be good opponents. Not less than 10 years. But they failed. He did not allow other opponents to come forward. Bright people are kept in demand. There were many new faces. They were enthusiastic. But they didn’t do anything because they were afraid that their pictures would be blurred if the pictures of the freshers came out.’
A strong opposition is essential in a healthy democracy, the Prime Minister was heard to say. But nepotism has become a problem for the opposition (Congress).
While speaking, Modi looked at Baharampur MP and Congress Lok Sabha leader and said, ‘Look at Adhir Chowdhury’s condition. Our Khargeji has shifted from this house to another house. Gulamji has shifted from the party.’
Prime Minister poked Rahul Gandhi. He said, ‘The time has come to lock the Congress shop by launching the same product again and again.’
