10 marks will be deducted from the students appearing in the medical entrance exam for the second time. Earlier the number could be cut to 8. This decision was taken in a meeting related to the MBBS and BDS admission test in the meeting room of the Ministry of Health. Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek presided over the meeting.

The health minister said that the application can be made online from January 11. Last date for online application is 23 January. Fees must be submitted on January 24. Allotment of roll numbers and seats will be done by January 26. Admit card distribution will end by February 5. Seat allotment on February 8. The exam will be held on February 9. The exam will be held at 10 am.

Apart from this, it was also decided in the meeting that the dental admission test will be held on March 18.

Zahid Malek said that in the last five years no one had any complaints about the medical examination. Not this time either. There is no chance of missing questions in the exam.

There are a total of 5,380 seats in government and private medical colleges in the country.
