Heavy rains lashed various parts of the UAE. It started raining in almost all places including Dubai, Sharjah and Ajman from Sunday morning local time.
Rain was reported in several areas including Hatta and Jumeirah in Dubai, as well as Sharjah and Fujairah.
According to a report by Khaleej Times News, videos circulating on social media showed heavy rains in Sharjah and Dubai. A video taken from a car shows a large flock of birds resting on the grass by the side of a road in Sharjah.
According to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM), skies will remain partly cloudy to cloudy across the UAE. There is a chance of rain during the day. Especially in coastal and northern areas like Dubai, Sharjah and Fujairah.
The NCM also said orange and yellow warnings have been issued for rain in some parts of the country. Residents are advised to exercise caution. As long as the precautions are in place, the authorities are asked to follow the instructions.
Maximum temperature in UAE is expected to be between 25-29 degree Celsius and minimum temperature between 10-15 degree Celsius.
