Many countries have congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for winning for the fourth time in a row. Ambassadors of 11 countries including China, India and Russia congratulated Awami League president Sheikh Hasina on her absolute victory in the 12th parliamentary elections.
Prime Minister’s Press Wing informed that on Monday morning, ambassadors from China, India, Russia, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Philippines, Nepal, Pakistan, Brazil and Morocco met Sheikh Hasina and greeted her with flowers.
Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander Montetaski, Indian High Commissioner Prannoy Verma, Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen, Philippine Ambassador Leo Tito L congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina with flowers for her historic victory in the election for the fourth time in a row. The ambassadors congratulated Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on behalf of their respective countries for the absolute victory of Awami League in the parliamentary elections. He also said to continue cooperation with Bangladesh. The Prime Minister also thanked them and sought their cooperation in the development and progress of Bangladesh.
