A new committee of the Malaysia branch of the Chittagong Tariqat-based organization ‘Gausia Committee Bangladesh’ has been formed. The new committee was announced at the Triennial Council of the Malaysia Branch held in the lobby of Hotel G Tower in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday evening.
Gausia Committee Bangladesh Central Council Chairman Pear Muhammad Commissioner, Finance Secretary Mohammad Qamar Uddin Sabur and Chandnaish Upazila Gausia Committee General Secretary Morshedul Alam’s visit to Malaysia and Malaysia Branch Triennial Council 2023 was held. The meeting was presided over by Gausia committee worker. Anwar Hossain. After the discussion meeting conducted by youth leader Tarekul Alam Chowdhury, Chairman of Gausia Committee Bangladesh Payer Muhammad announced the Malaysia Branch Committee.
Gausia Committee Bangladesh Malaysia branch has received the responsibility of Md. Anwar Hossain. Senior Vice President Mohammad Rafiqul Islam (Akhand), General Secretary. Naim Uddin, joint general secretary. Junaid Aziz, joint general secretary. Tarekul Alam Chowdhury, Islam Chowdhury, organizing secretary. Ferdous Alam, Finance Secretary Jamal Hossain, Office Secretary Ibrahim Tipu including 41 member full committee was announced.
In addition, Hangtua Branch, Gausul Azam Mosque Kepong Branch, Petaling Jaya Branch and Selayang Sub-Branch were established and approved under Malaysia Branch.
Others present in the meeting were members of the advisory board of the newly formed committee and Bangladesh community leader Nazmul Islam Babul, Zakir Hossain, adviser and businessman Muhammad Eskander, Muhammad Harun Saudagar, general secretary of Gausul Azam Jame Masjid Tuku Sardar and other branch committee leaders.
It should be noted that the Gausia Committee Bangladesh was formed in 1986 under the direction of Hafez Qari Syed Muhammad Tayyab Shahr (RA) in the name of great leader Hazrat Abdul Quader Jilani (RA).
In the event, Gausia Committee Bangladesh has contributed to cremation of dead bodies, free oxygen and ambulance service, cooperation in the terrible fire at BM depot, cooperation with flood victims in Sylhet and other humanitarian services.
The program ends with distribution of Milad Qiyam, Nate Rasool, Akheri Monajat and Tabarak.
