France intercepts plane carrying Indians on charges of human trafficking

France intercepts a plane carrying 303 Indian nationals on charges of human trafficking. The country blocked the flight to Nicaragua on Friday.

The A340 aircraft of the Romanian company Legend Airlines took off from the United Arab Emirates. The aircraft then landed at Vatry airport in the Marne department of France.

Officials suspect the passengers planned to travel to Central America to try to enter the United States or Canada illegally, news agency AFP reported.
