Fire in Mohanganj Express at Tejgaon railway station, 4 people died

Four people died in a fire in the Mohanganj Express train at Tejgaon railway station in the capital. Today morning at 5:04 a.m. when the fire was reported, the fire service team quickly reached Tejgaon railway station and started extinguishing the fire.

Passengers say that when the train reached Tejgaon railway station from Netrakona early in the morning, the miscreants set fire to three coaches with the intention of sabotage.

According to the fire service, after receiving the report of the fire at 5:04 am, the fire service team quickly reached Tejgaon railway station and started extinguishing the fire. After extinguishing the fire in a train compartment, four bodies were recovered from there. Three units of the fire service brought the fire under control after an effort of about one and a half hours.

After the damaged train was shifted to Kamalapur railway station, the train movement was normalized. The bodies of the four deceased have been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The police are investigating the incident.
