The court has granted an application to show arrest against BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir in 9 cases of sabotage of different police stations. At the same time, the court has set tomorrow Wednesday for Fakhrul’s bail hearing.

Mirza Fakhrul’s lawyer Syed Zainul Abedin Mejbah confirmed this information.
Before this, lawyers Asaduzzaman, Mohsin Mia, Syed Zainul Abedin Mejba, Omar Farooq Farooqui and many others sought bail on behalf of Mirza Fakhrul. The State opposes this bail. After hearing both the parties, the court showed arrest in 9 cases and fixed tomorrow for the bail hearing.
First, Mirza Fakhrul was shown arrested in these 9 cases. A bail hearing was then held.
At around 11:40 am today, the prison authorities brought Mirza Fakhrul to the court from Keraniganj prison in Dhaka. After that he was kept in the jail of the concerned court. Then Fakhrul was taken to the courtroom at around 1:14 pm.
On December 31, Dhaka’s Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Rezaul Karim Chowdhury’s court fixed this date for the bail hearing along with the arrest.
The Intelligence Department (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested Mirza Fakhrul from his home in Gulshan at around 9:30 am on October 28. After that, he was arrested in the case of Paltan police station in the case of murder and car burning.
When he was produced in court on October 29, the Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka rejected his bail and ordered him to be sent to jail. Since then Mirza Fakhrul Islam is in Alamgir jail.
