Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has commented that elections cannot be stopped by burning people to achieve political objectives. He made this comment while exchanging Christmas greetings with the Christian community at Ganabhaban today.
The Prime Minister condemned those who want to stop the election by burning people for political gain. He said, no one can do politics using religion. There will be no terror, violence in Bangladesh of harmony.
Greeting everyone on Christmas, the Prime Minister said, ‘Religion belongs to everyone, festival belongs to everyone. Awami League government is always trying to protect the rights of people of all religions. We do not want religious conflict. We want to celebrate the festival by sharing the joy of people of all religions.’
At this time, the Prime Minister called for voting by boat again to continue the trend of non-communal Bangladesh and development.
Sheikh Hasina urged everyone to follow the main message of religion and follow the path of peace. He said that all religions, including Christianity, have spoken about truth, justice and humanity.
