Information and Broadcasting Minister and Joint General Secretary of Awami League commented that some international organizations have turned the issue of human rights into a business. Hasan Mahmud. He complained and said that on the occasion of International Human Rights Day on December 10, that group is trying to create an unstable environment in Bangladesh.
The minister said these things at the check distribution ceremony of the Journalist Welfare Trust at the Chittagong Press Club on Friday morning. On the occasion, he handed over a check of Tk 23 lakh to 28 journalists of Chittagong and their families.
Hasan Mahmud said, ‘There are some commentators in this country in tune with the international human rights organizations, who spread slander against the country. But they do not make any statement against the terrorists who throw petrol bombs and burn people every day in the name of movement. They are also silent about the way Israeli forces are killing people in Palestine.
The information minister also commented that the people of the country are looking for those “informants”.
He said, “By stopping all the conspiracies, the people of the country will bring the power of the independence party to power in the next election.”
