‘Drishtinandan’ is the capital’s 342 primary schools

The government is taking various initiatives to make primary education attractive. As part of this initiative has been taken to beautify 342 government primary schools of the capital. Among them, construction work is starting in 200 primary schools. Classrooms in these schools will be made attractive.

Along with this, the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education said that multimedia classroom work is starting in 64,000 primary schools across the country. Besides, Wi-Fi connectivity is being provided in all government primary schools.

The ministry informed about all these initiatives in an event organized at the Directorate of Primary Education on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Primary and Mass Education Secretary Farid Ahmed said that the government has taken various initiatives to make primary education attractive. In continuation of this, 25 thousand laptops will be distributed across the country. And multimedia classrooms are being made in all schools.

In the speech of the chief guest, Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary Tofazzal Hossain Mia said that teachers are being recruited in primary schools with merit and transparency. Now teachers need to be properly trained to ensure quality education.

The government is developing an integrated software to modernize primary education.
