‘Mahabharat’ famous actor Bhupinder Singh was arrested for the crime of murder. A young man named Gurdeep Singh was killed by him due to a dispute with his neighbor over felling of trees. Three others were injured. News from NDTV.
The incident took place in Bijnore, Uttar Pradesh, India. According to local media, actor Bhupinder Singh shot himself in anger from his licensed gun.
In this incident, the uncle of the deceased youth filed a complaint against the actor. Bhupinder was arrested on that basis. The search is on for 2 more accomplices of the accused. Police said they are absconding.
It is known that Bhupinder Singh is a resident of Kuankheda Khadri village in Uttar Pradesh. He is the owner of a farmhouse there. Neighbor Gurdeep Singh’s house is next to that farmhouse. There was a eucalyptus tree at the edge of the land. The two argued over whose property the tree belonged to. When the situation went out of control, Bhupinder suddenly fired from his licensed gun. Gurdeep Singh, his wife Mirabai and their son Buta Singh were seriously injured. Gurdeep Singh’s 22-year-old son Gobind Singh died on the spot. A case of murder was filed against actor Bhupinder Singh in this incident.
