Rana Mia, the son of the deceased Abdul Malek, said, ‘There was a dispute between Asad and Azizul over land related issues in Pakundia East Kumarpur area. Regarding this today, in the arbitration meeting, why did my father say the right thing after seeing the land papers, Ramiz Uddin, Choton, Hanif, Jahangir and Rafiq ambushed my father under the leadership of Azizul. At this time, my father was seriously injured when he hit his head with a stick again.’

Rana Mia also said, ‘My father did not show any bias here, why did he speak after seeing what was on the paper, that’s why they killed my father out of anger. I want justice for the murder of my father.’
