Deshidash is a joint venture of ten creative organizations of indigenous clothing. On January 31, Bashundhara City launched in a new guise at level four of the shopping complex. Hashem Khan, one of the leading artists of the country’s creative industry, inaugurated this new journey.
Deshidash was formed in 2009 with a unique idea of 10 fashion brands. Now the brand includes Nipun, K Craft, Anjans, Rang Bangladesh, Banglar Mela, Sadakalo, Bibiana, Desal, Nagardola and Srishti. Working with native culture, native festivals, native clothes is their main thought. Desidash has become popular among people by making festive clothes using native materials.
Artist Hashem Khan said on the occasion, “We work together in ten, we lose, we win, we are not ashamed.” Desidash has set an apt example of this adage in the fashion industry. It’s not just the white canvas that artists express their thoughts on. Artists can show their creativity through colors, lines, motifs in clothes.
Desidash has arranged itself in a new way at Level 4 of Bashundhara City Shopping Complex. Apart from this, they have outlets at Kumarpara in Sylhet and Afmi Plaza at Pravartak Mor in Chittagong.
