BNP Standing Committee member Abdul Moin Khan said that Delhi should think about why anti-India sentiment is increasing among the people of Bangladesh. He said this at a discussion meeting on the occasion of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman’s 89th birth anniversary at Dhaka Reporters Unity on Monday.
Abdul Moin Khan said, ‘After the election, when our government says, thank them (India), they have managed this election with their help. Why is this government taking our friendly country to the swing of mutual distrust? This is the question that India’s policy makers, with their hands on their chests, must ask themselves today.’
This member of the BNP Standing Committee said that Bangladesh-India relations are friendly. India’s contribution to the country’s independence is many. But in recent years people’s attitude towards India has changed. This is why Delhi should look into it.
He thinks that the reason why people of Bangladesh rejoice when India is defeated in international games should be looked into.
At that time, he also criticized the killing of Bangladeshi citizens by BSF firing on the border.
