A deed writer named Abdul Malek (75) died after being hit by a stick during an arbitration meeting in Purba Kumarpur area of ​​Pakundia police station in Kishoreganj district. This incident happened around 1 pm on Sunday.

Later he was taken to Kishoreganj District Sadar Hospital with serious injuries. When his condition deteriorated there, he was brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctor in charge declared him dead at 9:30 pm.

Rana Mia, the son of the deceased Abdul Malek, said, ‘My father is a document writer by profession. There was a dispute between Asad and Azizul over land related issues in Pakundia East Kumarpur area. Regarding this today, in the arbitration meeting, why did my father say the right thing after seeing the land papers, under the leadership of Azizul, Ramiz Uddin, Choton, Hanif, Jahangir and Rafiq ambushed my father.’

Rana Mia also said, ‘My father did not show any favoritism here. He spoke by seeing what was on paper. They killed my father because of that. I want justice for the murder of my father.’

Inspector in charge of DMK Hospital police camp Bachchu Mia confirmed the matter by quoting the doctor. He said that the body has been kept in the morgue of the emergency department of the hospital. The matter has been reported to the concerned police station.
