CTTC’s special action group arrested them after conducting a raid in Shanirakhra Kachabazar area of ​​the capital on Sunday evening. Emon Hossain. Railway cutting equipment was recovered from them during the arrest.

Police said that they were sent to the court after the arrest.

They picked up several people from different places on the way in the microbus. Later, around 12:30 in the night, they left the microbus beside a forest in Bankharia area and went to the spot on foot with all the equipment. There, leaving two people on the mountain, with the help of others, Emon cut the railway line between 3 and 4 in the night. At the end of the work, they left the two gas cylinders there and returned to the car along with other tools. Two days after the incident, Kabir called Emon and met him in Chawkbazar area and asked him to go into hiding with Tk 3,000.

Quoting the preliminary investigation, the Additional Commissioner of Police further said, ‘Kabir said he was the mastermind and mastermind behind the burning of cars in Demra, Jatrabari, Newmarket, Elephant Road and Banshal areas of Dhaka. He pleaded guilty to eight counts of planning, directing and paying for arson in these areas. In addition, while trying to set fire to the bus in Banshal Thana area, Md. was arrested red-handed.
