Congratulations to Bappi, the chess champion in Chittagong

Malaysian diaspora congratulated Fazle Noor Bappi for winning the chess competition held in Chittagong. Kriti is a Malaysian expatriate.

Chittagong Port City Senior Club organized the Mohan-Mithu-Bulbul Smriti International Fide Rapid Rating Chess Tournament in memory of three deceased sports organizers last Thursday in the hall of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra Club, Ice Factory Road, Chittagong. The day-long seven-round competition ends at 7 pm. The champion was Fazle Nur Bappi and the runner-up was Md. Abdul Malek. A total of 114 chess players participated in this tournament. Deputy Minister of Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Naufel MP distributed trophies, prize money and certificates among the winners as the chief guest at the closing ceremony at 7 pm.

It should be noted that Fazle Nur Bappi, the champion of the competition, lived in Malaysia for more than a century. The Malaysian diaspora is proud and happy about Bappi’s achievements as a businessman. Champion Fazle Noor Bappi was congratulated by Bangladesh Community Press Club Malaysia Vice President Rafiq Ahmad Khan, businessman Md. Iskadar Moni, Farooqul Islam, Abbas Hussain, Nashir Uddin Khan, Businessman Mohammad Salauddin, Jasim Uddin, Sadek Ullah, Mohammad Shawkat Hesen, Mohammad Farid Hussain, Mohammad Haroon Saudagar, Shahadat Hussain, Mohammad Alam, Businessman Ali Haider Manik, Mohammad Idris, Mostak Alamin, Gausia Committee Malaysia Branch President Anwar Hassan, Tarek Salam, Mohammad Russell, Mohammad Ferdous, Tauhidul Islam, Md. Karim, Mohammad Naeem, Salim Uddin Arman, Mohammad Ismail, Mohammad Parvez, Habib Ullah etc.

They wished Malaysian expatriate chess player Fazle Nur Bappi success in the future.
