A college student named Niloy Saha (19) died after jumping from the roof of a six-storey building in Chandpur city. He died after falling from the six-storey building on the north side of Parash Sahar Bhawan on Abdul Karim Patwari road in the city around 4:30 pm on Tuesday.
It is known that Niloy Saha is Swarup Saha’s son. He is a first year student of HSC at Puran Bazar Degree College Open University Center in the city.
Niloy’s cousin Abhijit said that Niloy has been suffering from mental illness for the past few years. He has been treated at several places in India and the country. They are one brother and one sister.
Niloy’s father Swaroop Saha said that his son is suffering from mental illness. Today, without the knowledge of everyone in the house, he jumped from the roof of the building and suffered a head injury. Later he himself and the people around him were rescued from the spot and taken to Chandpur Government General Hospital. Doctor on duty at the hospital. Kajal declares Niloy dead.
Meanwhile, Chandpur Sadar Model Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Zakir Bhuiyan prepared the body for postmortem after receiving information about the incident.
