Prominent industrialist and chairman of City Group Fazlur Rahman passed away. He died while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in the capital today at around 4 o’clock in the morning. He was 76 years old.

According to the report, Fazlur Rahman breathed his last at the United Hospital of the capital today at around 4 o’clock in the morning. He was suffering from respiratory disease for a long time.
According to family sources, Janaza will be held at Gendaria Dhupkhola field after Asr on Monday. He is survived by his wife, one son and three daughters.
In 1972, City Group started its activities by undertaking the production of mustard oil. In the early 90s, Citigroup undertook more projects and initiatives. Apart from the domestic market, Fazlur Rahman’s City Group is exporting products to various countries around the world.
