Twin explosions occurred near the tomb of Iran’s top general Qassem Soleimani. According to the British media BBC, 103 people were killed in an explosion on Wednesday until the last news.

The head of emergency services in the southern Iranian city of Kerman said most of those injured were in critical condition, Al Jazeera reported. Because of this death is increasing. 141 people are still injured.

Exactly how this explosion happened is not known in detail. However, it is initially believed that the twin explosions were caused by the bombing.

Iran’s Tasnim news agency says that two bags of bombs were brought to the event, according to several people who were present at the time of the incident. The explosion took place from there. The bomb was detonated by remote control.

According to another news agency Isner, the Middle East-based media outlet Middle East Eye said that another bomb exploded 10 minutes after one bomb exploded.

However, several media reports say that several gas canisters exploded on the road leading to Soleimani’s grave. This may have caused such a big explosion.

A video circulating online showed several bodies lying on a road.

Several hundred people were reported to have walked to the tomb on Wednesday as part of a ceremony to remember General Soleimani, who was killed in a US drone strike in neighboring Iraq in 2020.

Iranian state media said the event was marking the fourth anniversary of the assassination of General Qasem Soleimani of the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. At this time, twin explosions occurred.

“This is a terrorist attack,” said the deputy governor of Kerman city. Various videos circulating on social media show multiple bodies lying on the road.

However, no one has claimed responsibility for the attack till the latest news.

On the night of January 2, 2020, Qassem Soleimani was killed in a ‘US’ attack at Baghdad International Airport in Iraq.
