The police have revealed the mystery of the recovery of an unidentified body full of luggage from the new bus stand of Faridpur city. A woman named Rozina Akhter (32) has been arrested in this incident. He was arrested from the Dewan’s house in Jurain area of ​​Kadamtali, Dhaka on Monday around 3 pm.

Rozina Akhter (32) is a sex worker in Daulatdia sex village.

District Superintendent of Police (SP) Md. Morshed Alam confirmed this information in a press conference at his office on Tuesday afternoon.

In the details of the incident, the District Superintendent of Police said that last Saturday (January 27) an unidentified body filled with luggage was recovered from the new bus stand in Faridpur city. The identity of the deceased was later identified. His name is Milan Pramanik (39). He is a resident of New Gohail Bari area of ​​Pabna district. He used to work in various brick kilns in Rajbari district and occasionally went to Patita village.

Citing the initial confession, the Superintendent of Police said that the arrested Rozina is a sex worker. Milon used to visit him often. Milon came to Rozina’s house last Friday (January 26). On that day, there was an argument between them about money. At one point Rozina killed Milan by twisting the veil around his neck.

Then Rozina put the body in a big luggage and took it in a rickshaw to hide it. Later, he took a Mahendra car and brought it from Daulatdia to Faridpur bus stand and left the luggage of the dead body and escaped.

SP Md. Morshed Alam also said that the driver of the Mahendra car and the rickshaw driver were identified with the help of information technology and the collection of CCTV footage from different places. Later, according to the information given by them, Rozina was identified and arrested.

The accused has been sent to court. This police officer also said that remand will be sought for further investigation if necessary.
