Today, December 10 is World Human Rights Day. On the occasion of the day, BNP will organize human chain in all metropolitan and district cities of the country including the capital. The program will begin at 11 am in front of the National Press Club in the capital. The family members of the missing-murdered party leaders and workers will also participate in it.
This is the first program of BNP’s Rajpath after the mass meeting in Dhaka’s Nayapaltan on October 28. The party leaders and workers are giving special importance to this program of International Human Rights Day ahead of the national elections.
Various parties and alliances, including BNP, have held several rounds of blockade and hartal programs since October 29 demanding the resignation of the government, elections under a non-partisan government and cancellation of the schedule.
Meanwhile, Awami League is also ready to ensure that there is no chaos in BNP’s program on Human Rights Day. The group held a home program at Shilpakala Academy. Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader held a press conference to inform about the event.
