On the morning of the blockade, it can be seen that there is less traffic on the roads of the capital. Along with public transport, there are also private vehicles including rickshaws, motorcycles on the road.
Meanwhile, law and order forces are active in the field to prevent sabotage and chaos in the blockade program. They have alert positions and patrols at key points in the city.
Amidst the attacks and clashes, the BNP held a morning-evening strike across the country on October 29 in protest against the Mahasambesh Pand Hall in Dhaka on October 28. After this, many top leaders including the party’s general secretary Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir were arrested.
Since then, ie since October 31, BNP has organized blockades and hartal programs on roads, railways and waterways.
