Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif has accused BNP of engaging in terrorist activities and said, ‘If this continues, the party will disappear in the future.’
Hanif made this comment in response to the questions of journalists after attending an exchange meeting with the sales representatives of various companies at Kushtia District Shilpakala Academy on Friday. This exchange meeting was organized with the determination to build a self-reliant environment friendly country.
This joint general secretary of Awami League said, ‘Tareek Rahman is not a political leader. During her mother’s tenure as Prime Minister, she wielded power and carried out acts of corruption and terrorism. There are countless cases against these convicted fugitives abroad. According to him, BNP leaders and activists are carrying out Choragupta attacks to thwart the elections. They are damaging people’s lives by setting fire to buses and trucks. Those who condone such activities should be ashamed of themselves.’
Mahbubul Alam Hanif said, ‘If BNP continues its terrorist activities, this party will disappear in the future. And the maximum of the law is being enforced. Soon the destructive activities will be eradicated.’
In response to another question, Hanif said, ‘Elections are inevitable at the appointed time. Therefore, the Election Commission said that from 18th to 7th January, no other program can be held except election-centered. This decision is a timely decision.’
Later, Mahbubul Alam Hanif spoke as the chief guest in an exchange meeting with the sales representatives of various companies.
