Bangladesh Awami League presidium member and Rajshahi City Corporation Mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton said, ‘BNP-Jamaat is trying to stop or question the elections of Bangladesh through foreign superpowers without having faith and trust in the people of the country’.

He said these things in the election public meeting organized by Upazila Awami League in order to win Awami League nominated boat candidate Junaid Ahmed Palak in Natore-3 (Singra) constituency on Sunday afternoon at Gol-e Afroz Government College ground.

At that time, Rasik Mayor said, ‘The 12th national parliament election will be held on January 7. Many developed countries including India, China, America, European Union, Russia are watching this election. Our country’s elections will be held, why is everyone’s sleep prohibited? Also saw the run of the US ambassador’.

AHM Khairuzzaman Liton said to BNP that BNP is not able to trust the people of the country and without trusting the people of the country, the BNP-Jamaat alliance wants to stop the elections of Bangladesh through the hands of the foreign power, the United States. In 1971, men and women were killed in the great war of liberation in my country. At that time they conspired on behalf of Pakistanis. Today, their descendants are once again calling on the superpowers of 71.

Mayor Liton said, those who raised questions about not going to the parliamentary elections when the elections come in the country, Sheikh Hasina should resign, elections should be held under a non-partisan government. Then I will go to the election, otherwise I will not go. Khaleda Zia has not withdrawn the movement program announced in 2016 which is still going on today. Now people don’t do cheating politics anymore.

Awami League and its various organizational leaders, including the parliamentary candidate state minister Junaid Ahmed Palak, upazila Awami League president Sheikh Ohidur Rahman, Singra town mayor Jannatul Ferdous, were also present in the public meeting.
