Awami League’s Joint General Secretary and Foreign Minister commented that BNP is suffering from depression without participating in the elections. Hasan Mahmud. He made this comment after paying tribute to martyr Matiur Rahman on the occasion of People’s Uprising Day at Navkumar Institute in Bakshibazar, Old Dhaka.
Hasan Mahmud said, BNP is realizing that they have made a mistake. They are suffering from depression without participating in the elections. There is extreme depression and suffering in the group.
The foreign minister said that many people are trying to distort the history of independence. Freedom did not happen at the whistle of someone’s whistle.
The voting for the 12th National Parliament election was held on January 7. 28 of the 44 parties registered by the Election Commission participated in it. Other parties including BNP did not participate. Awami League won 223 out of 299 seats in the election. Apart from this, Jatiya Party got 11 seats. And independent candidates and others get 65 seats.
