Adviser to BNP Chairperson Zainul Abdin Farooq commented that BNP cannot be suppressed by lawsuits. He made this comment in a human chain in front of the National Press Club on Thursday.
Zainul Abedin said, ‘Until one point of one demand of the ongoing movement of Bangladesh is established, until I cast my vote in Bangladesh, this struggle of BNP and like-minded parties will continue. No one will be able to keep BNP sitting at home with a case.’
Advisor to BNP Chairperson Zainul also commented that if the government believed in democracy, no permission was needed for the black flag procession.
Alleging that the BNP was suppressed by the state apparatus, he said, ‘History says that no one will be saved like this.’
Regarding the government’s criticism of TIB, he said, ‘After a few days, the same will be said about former minister Abdur Razzak.’
Zainul Abdin Farooq also said that BNP is not disappointed and will continue the movement for democracy.
