February has arrived. For Bangladeshis and Bengali speaking people, this month means the memory of language rights. On February 21, 1952, Salam, Barkat, Rafiq, Jabbar and many others gave their lives for the demand of language. Language demand such movement may not be recognized!

This commemoration of International Mother Language Day is part of the entire month of February. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza’s team Sylhet Strikers is bringing a special event in BPL to honor Language Month.

However, Mashrafe said yesterday that he is taking a break from BPL to take charge of the whip in Parliament. You can return to BPL if you get a chance after completing your duties. Currently, Mashrafe is not with the team, but the franchise of Sylhet has organized to honor Language Day by putting a special jersey on Nazmul Hossain Shanto.

The name on the jersey will be written in Bengali. Photo: Facebook

What is the arrangement? Sylhet has given a picture on their Facebook page, where it can be seen that Shanta’s jersey is green in color. Not only the change in color, the names of the players are written in Bengali on the back of the jersey.

Tomorrow at 2 pm, Sylhet will play against the great Dhaka. It is heard that the players can wear this special jersey in that match.
