Minister of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Anisul Haque said, “Bangladeshis are being taught how to kill by eating English soup-beef while sitting in London.”
This was said by the Law Minister pointing to BNP Acting Chairman Tarek Rahman in an election rally at Kasbar Badair in Brahmanbaria on Wednesday afternoon. Anisul Haque is the nominated candidate of Awami League in Brahmanbaria-4 (Kasba-Akhaura) constituency.
Referring to the death of 4 people in the train fire on Tuesday, the law minister said, ‘What is the use of this? The only advantage is that they have a gentleman, he sits in London and teaches people how to kill Bangladeshi people by eating English soup-beef. The politics of BNP is to destroy Bangladesh by torture. Trying to make Bangladesh not enjoy the benefits of democracy, become a failed state.’
He called for a response to this situation by voting on the boat symbol.
Upazila Awami League General Secretary and Upazila Chairman Rashedul Kawsar Jiban presided over the rally. The minister also addressed rallies in Tinlakhpir, Jamsherpur, Mulgram, Chargach, Raitla, Mehari, Shimrail villages throughout the day. Party leaders were with him at that time.
