Hisham M. Y. Quhail, CEO of the Palestine Observatory said that the voting was fair, peaceful and orderly throughout the country.
He informed about these observations in a briefing after voting in a hotel in the capital on Sunday.
At that time, Hisham M. Y. Quhail said, ‘All over the country, polling has been conducted in a fair, peaceful and systematic manner. The election process of Bangladesh is of international standard. We spoke to the voters and they were very happy. The law and order situation was very good. Voters were able to cast their votes without any problems.’
This observer also said that no violence was seen in the twelfth parliamentary elections of Bangladesh. No one was forced to vote.
The vote was held in the presence of many media. Bangladesh Electrolam system is very good. Besides, the political system of Bangladesh is very good. He also commented that the law and order situation was very good.
It should be noted that the voting for the 12th National Parliament election has ended. The polling started from 8 am and continued till 4 pm. Counting of votes has started.
