Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-10 arrested two people with huge amount of cocktails, petrol bombs and cocktail making equipment from Kadmatoli area of the capital.
In a press conference at Jatrabari on Wednesday afternoon, RAB said that they had stockpiled various explosives to destabilize the situation in the country before the elections. Two people named Nayan and Al Amin were arrested while making cocktails from Palpara Mandir Road area of Shyampur, Dhaka.
RAB-10 captain Mohammad Farid Uddin said that both Arita Nayan and Al Amin are Chhatra Dal workers. They were making petrol bombs and cocktails on the instructions of local BNP and Juba Dal leaders for sabotage purposes and supplying them at various times as per their demand.
Mohammad Farid Uddin also said that the two arrested persons had been vandalizing various areas of the capital including Jatrabari, Syedabad, Dholaipar, Golababad, Demra, Dania and Kadmatli in the last one month. There are several cases against both people including vandalism and theft.
