Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed has urged the army personnel to be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century through modern and up-to-date training. The Chief of Army Staff made this call as the Chief Guest at the 18th Annual Commander’s Conference of Bangladesh Infantry Regiment at Rajshahi Cantonment on Monday morning.
Addressing the captains and other officers of the Bangladesh Infantry Regiment units, the army chief said that your presence at the annual captain’s conference will create new enthusiasm among the members of this regiment. Through this, every member of the core will be convinced to set a unique example in national service in the coming days.
Army Chief General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed thanked the Prime Minister for the present government’s contribution in modernizing the army. The army chief on this occasion recalled with respect the glorious tradition of Bangladesh Infantry Regiment and the contribution of this regiment in the service of the country.
The 18th Conference of Bangladesh Infantry Regiment was attended by Headquarters, Army Training and Doctrine Command, local formations and senior military officers of Bangladesh Infantry Regiment.
Earlier, Chief of Army Staff SM Shafiuddin Ahmed was welcomed when he reached the Bangladesh Infantry Regimental Center in Rajshahi.
