The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested 6 militants including the coordinator and head of the training wing of the banned militant organization Ansar Al Islam.

RAB’s Legal and Media Wing Senior Assistant Director Senior ASP ANM Imran Khan confirmed this information on Monday morning.

Imran Khan said that on Sunday night they were arrested in Rupganj (Purbachal) area of ​​Narayanganj district.

Abdur Razzak alias Ishaq alias Saiba, chief coordinator and head of training wing of Ansar Al Islam in Ashulia, Savar, Manikganj, Gazipur and Mymensingh areas of the capital, is among the 6 arrested.

The RAB official also said that details will be given in a press conference organized at the RAB media center in the capital today.
