Annual Banquet of IEB Qatar Chapter completed

Institute of Engineers Bangladesh-IEB Qatar Chapter organized annual banquet on Thursday at Lusail Crescent Park, Doha, capital of Qatar. Bangladeshi engineers stationed in Qatar, their family members and Bangladesh Embassy officials participated in it.

The Chief Guest and Ambassador of Bangladesh to Qatar inaugurated the day-long program by cutting the cake. Nazrul Islam.

After breakfast, various competitions for children, teenagers, women and men were completed under the guidance of Engineer Saiful Islam. Irham was first, Irham was second and Juaria was third in the drawing competition for children under five years of age.

Irham came first, Sarah second and Manha third in the girls’ basket ball throwing competition. Rehan came first, Abrar came second and Adiv came third in the boys’ ball throw competition.

In the women’s competition, Boni came first, Banya came second and Sadia came third. In men’s basketball competition, engineer Robel, second engineer Solaiman and third engineer Mostak.

Lunch is organized after the Jumma prayer break.

After Asr Namaz, raffle draw and bingo game, a farewell reception and prize distribution was organized for Engineer Syed Mujeeb Ahmed. It was presided over by the chairman of the organization, engineer B.M. Kamal Hossain. The general secretary of the organization was the moderator of the event. Abdul Awal. Engineer Shafiqul Alam and Engineer Jalal Ahmad, two former chairmen of the organization, addressed the departed colleagues.
Under the supervision of engineer Shamsur Rahman, the ambassador distributed prizes to the outgoing members and winners of various sports events. Nazrul Islam.

All the engineers who have contributed to the success of the program are – Executive Member Md. Abdul Alim, Md. Mozammel Haque, Md. Saiful Islam, Md. Mahmudul Hasan, Md. Ansar Ali Mandal, Md. Mostak Ahmed and Md. Rafiul Biswas.
