Allegations of ejecting agents are incorrect: Introduction

Bus symbol candidate Tahsin Baha Sochana has claimed that the allegation of expelling agents from the center in Comilla City Corporation by-elections is not true.

Tahsin Baha started this claim by voting at Comilla Victoria College today on Saturday. He said, “It is not right to accuse the agent, it is slander.”

Tahsin Bahar said, ‘The election is going smoothly. I am optimistic about the victory.’

Earlier on Saturday morning while voting at the city’s Hochchamia Mia High School center, mayoral candidate BNP leader Monirul Haque Sakku complained that his agents have been expelled from several centers. Voters are being prevented from coming to some centers.

Voting started in Comilla City from 8 am on Saturday. Voters were seen queuing up at the center to cast their votes since polling began. People wearing badges of supporters of the mayoral candidate were also seen gathering outside the centre. Apart from this, the strong presence of the members of law and order forces has been seen.

In this election, there are 640 polling booths in 105 centers of 27 wards. Voting is being done through 960 EVMs.
