Absolute victory of Awami League candidates in 5 constituencies of Pabna

In the 12th National Assembly elections, a new face in Pabna won 5 seats and an old face in 4. District Returning Officer and District Administration Mu. Asaduzzaman confirmed this information in private results.

Results of total 125 centers in Pabna-1 Constituency Awami League’s boat symbol candidate Deputy Speaker Advocate Shamsul Haque Tuku got 94 thousand 314 votes. His closest rival, the former Minister of State for Information of the Awami League government, Professor Abu Sayeed, got 72 thousand 387 votes as an independent candidate in the truck brand symbol. Advocate Shamsul Haque Tuku won by 21 thousand 927 votes.

Boat candidate Ahmed Feroz Kabir has won in private results in Pabna-2 constituency. He got 1 lakh 65 thousand 842 votes in the total results of 108 centers. His closest rival, BNM’s anchor symbol candidate Dolly Sayantani, got 4,382 votes.

In the Pabna-3 constituency, the candidate of the boat, Mokbul Hossain, won in the private results. He got 1 lakh 19 thousand 469 votes in total of 176 centers. And independent candidate Abdul Hamid of Truck Prateek got 1 lakh 159 votes. Boat candidate Mokbul Hossain won in the private results.

Awami League’s boat symbol candidate Ghalibur Rahman Sharif got 1 lakh 67 thousand 443 votes in Pabna-4 seat from 129 centers. Independent candidate Punjab Ali Biswas of Eagle symbol got 14 thousand 662 votes. In the private results, the candidate of boat, Galibur Rahman Sharif, was elected privately by getting more than 1 lakh 52 thousand 781 votes.

In Pabna-5 constituency, Awami League’s boat symbol candidate Golam Farooq Khandkar Prince got 1 lakh 57 thousand 260 votes. His nearest rival Zakir Hossain of Haturi Prateik of Bangladesh Works Party got 3 thousand 316 votes. Among the other candidates, Jatiya Party’s Abdul Quader Khan Kadar got 2,766 votes, Trinamool BNP’s Afzal Hussain Batu got 3,259 votes and National People’s Party’s Mohammad Abu Dawood got 1,554 votes.

It is to be noted that Shamsul Haque Tuku, the candidate of Pabna-1 Constituency, was elected Member of National Parliament for the fourth time. Pabna-II Constituency Boat candidate Ahmed Firoz Kabir was elected Member of Parliament for the second time. Maqbul Hossain of Pabna-3 Constituency was also elected for the fourth time, Galibur Rahman Sharif of Pabna-4 Constituency Boat Symbol for the first time and Member of Parliament of Pabna-5 Constituency Ghulam Farooq Prince was elected for the fourth time.
