A woman named Mosa Rasheda Akhter (32) died after jumping from the seventh floor of a building in Merajnagar, Kadmatli of the capital. The police sent the body of the woman to Dhaka Medical College morgue for post-mortem on Tuesday afternoon.
The officer in charge (OC) of Sabuj Bagh police station Praloy Kumar Saha confirmed the matter.

OC Praloy Kumar Saha said, after receiving the news yesterday afternoon, I went to the spot along with a woman policeman. We recovered the body of the woman from the ground floor of the house there. After the legal process, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
He also said that Rasheda Akhtar was not mentally healthy for a long time. Due to this illness, he can jump from the roof of seven floors. However, the deceased has a bloody wound on the back of the head. The family of the deceased has no complaint in this regard.
Meanwhile, the body has been kept at Dhaka Medical College morgue for post-mortem to determine the exact cause of death. The police official also said that the legal process is ongoing in this regard.
